Pokemon Monomyth Polikazan: types and related designs
Pokemon Monomyth Polikazan is recorded as No040, with Water/Ground typing. The gallery brings together five names and six reference sprites from the Poliwag discussion. Here you can distinguish those designs, read the artist's public comment and check what is known about the Poliwhirl evolution question. A specific evolution trigger has not been verified.

Pokemon Monomyth Polikazan: related designs and types
These names, numbers, types and images come from the official v1.0 patch reference. Poliwhirl has two images under No037. Their order is for display, not an evolution tree, an official form order or a route to obtain them.

Field evidence

How do I recognise Polikazan in Pokemon Monomyth?
Start with No040 and the name Polikazan, then check the two type labels: Water and Ground. Those three fields identify the reference more reliably than remembering only its colour. They also distinguish it from Poliwhirl, whose two collected references are both No037 and Water.
Why are there six images for five names?
The gallery has six images because one numbered entry is represented twice: Poliwhirl No037. The other four names each have one reference. Counting those pictures does not add a sixth named entry.
Both No037 images retain Water typing even though their colouring differs. This helps with image recognition; it does not establish a sex, shiny status or method of changing forms. The reference labels are editorial.
Polikazan's secondary Ground label contrasts with the Fighting label on Poliwrath. The other listed entries show Water alone. This recorded difference helps identify Polikazan; predicting moves or battle results would need different evidence.
What did the artist say about the Poliwag designs?
On October 31, 2026, bonzosbunker posted about contributing designs and sprites to Pokemon Monomyth and singled out work on the Poliwag line. The post tags Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Poliwrath, Politoed and Polikazan. Team Monomyth's credits independently list bonzosbunker under both spritework and Pokemon design.
This gives the gallery a specific design-discussion context. It supports attributing the statement to the artist, rather than inventing a connection from consecutive numbers. The post does not identify a game build, assign every pictured asset individually or describe an evolution method. We therefore do not credit every current reference to that one artist or turn the tags into arrows.
How does Poliwhirl evolve into Polikazan?
A viewer of Null and Void's launch-day Pokedex video asked this progression question. The comment was recorded in our October 31 snapshot; it records that viewer's question, not a demonstrated evolution.
The verified Pokemon Monomyth Polikazan reference supplies identity fields and an image, not an evolution trigger. We have not verified a sequence of actions that produces it from Poliwhirl. Consequently this page offers no Water Stone, King's Rock or level recommendation borrowed from another game.
To distinguish a useful future answer from a guess, look for the exact starting Pokemon, the action taken and the resulting evolution screen, with the game version if shown. A Pokedex entry appearing later in a list can identify the result but cannot establish the action that caused it.
What can I learn from the type comparison?
The gallery lets you answer a narrow, useful question before planning further: which of these references actually shows a second type? Poliwag, both Poliwhirl images and Politoed show Water alone; Poliwrath shows Water/Fighting; Polikazan shows Water/Ground.
Keep that observed distinction separate from a team recommendation. A type label does not tell you which moves this game gives a Pokemon, what its ability does or how a particular encounter is balanced. Those details are outside the verified fields here. The comparison remains useful for recognising an entry without pretending to calculate a best team.
Which source should I check for each question?
Use the v1.0 patch reference for the number, spelling, type labels and corresponding sprites. Use the dated artist post for the design statement and the linked viewer comment for the evolution question. These sources answer different questions, so agreement on a name does not make every statement a tested game mechanic.
If your entry looks different, compare its name, number, types and available version information with the gallery. The full Pokedex keeps the wider collection together. For a screenshot colour note, the coat lab reads local pixels; it cannot identify an internal form or validate an evolution.
Pokemon Monomyth Polikazan FAQ
Which types are recorded for Pokemon Monomyth Polikazan?
The official v1.0 patch reference records Polikazan as Water/Ground. This identifies the displayed types; it does not establish a move set, ability or damage calculation.
What is Polikazan's Pokedex number?
Polikazan is No040 in this reference. Nearby numbers help locate the entries but do not, by themselves, prove an evolution sequence.
Why does Poliwhirl appear twice in the gallery?
Two reference sprites share the name Poliwhirl, No037 and Water typing. They are shown separately so you can recognise both images, without inventing an official form name or acquisition method.
Is the level for evolving Poliwhirl into Polikazan confirmed?
No specific level or other trigger has been verified in the evidence used here. The viewer's question is attributed as a question, not treated as a demonstrated evolution.
Did bonzosbunker confirm the evolution method?
No. The October 31 post discusses design and sprite contributions and draws attention to the Poliwag line. It does not give progression instructions or identify the build shown.
